Delete your account

Last updated 21 October 2026

You can delete your AmarPilot account yourself from the mobile app, or ask us to delete it for you. This page explains both routes, what is removed, and what we keep.

1. Delete it yourself in the app

Paying through Google Play? Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription, and Google will keep charging you. Cancel it first in the Google Play Store app, under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

  1. Open the AmarPilot app and sign in.
  2. Go to Menu, then Settings.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account, below Sign out.
  4. Enter your current password, then type the confirmation text exactly as the app shows it. Shop owners type the shop name; team members type their account email.
  5. Confirm. You are signed out immediately and cannot sign in again.

Export anything you still need before you start. Deletion cannot be undone and we cannot restore access afterwards.

2. Ask us to delete it

If you cannot sign in, or you want data removed beyond what the in-app deletion covers, contact us through the contact form on our home page. Include the account email address and the shop name so we can identify the account. We verify that the request comes from the account holder before deleting anything, and we will tell you when it is done.

3. What deletion removes

If you are the shop owner, deleting your account closes the whole workspace:

  • Your name, email address and phone number are erased from your account and replaced with non-identifying placeholders.
  • The shop profile is deactivated and its owner name, email address, phone number, address and logo are erased.
  • Your AmarPilot plan ends. A plan bought through Google Play keeps renewing until you cancel it in Google Play, as described above.
  • Every API key issued for the shop is revoked.
  • Push notification tokens for every device signed in to the shop are deleted, so the app stops receiving notifications.
  • Every team member's login is disabled and their name, email address and phone number are erased too.

If you are a team member, only your own account is removed. Your name, email address and phone number are erased, your login is disabled, the API keys you created are revoked and your device push tokens are deleted. The shop and your colleagues' accounts keep working.

4. What we keep, and why

We do not erase the business records in the workspace. Orders, order items, products, inventory movements, payments, invoices, courier bookings and message logs remain in our database. Two reasons:

  • These records reference each other. Removing one row would corrupt the rest.
  • We need them to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to resolve disputes about past transactions.

After deletion these records no longer carry your name, email address or phone number. Messages you sent to customers and replies you wrote to our support team show “Deleted User” instead. We keep the records for as long as those obligations require, then delete or anonymise them.

Your customers' records. Information your shop collected about its own shoppers — names, phone numbers, addresses, order history and messages — belongs to the shop, not to your login, and in-app deletion does not erase it. If you want that data removed as well, say so in your email request and we will handle it, subject to the retention obligations above.

Backups and audit logs may hold copies for a limited period after deletion, and they are overwritten in the normal course of operation.

5. Platform administrators

AmarPilot platform administrator accounts cannot be deleted through this route. They are managed from the admin console so that the safeguards on administrative access stay in force. Contact us if you hold such an account and need it removed.
